Lineup for Iranian documentaries to vie at Docs in Focus section of the Fajr Int'l Filmfest has been announced.
A total of 5 Iranian documentaries have been selected to compete at the Docs in Focus of 36th Fajr International Film Festival which is based in Iranian capital of Tehran.
The lineup is made up of Mehdi Naghavian's 'Paternal Bequest' as well as 'Finding Farideh' by Kourosh Ataee and Azadeh Mousavi.
The list goes on to include Mehdi Baqeri's 'House of Sun', Mostafa Razaq-Karimi's 'Lady Qods of Iran' and 'Path of Heart' by Mehdi Zamanpour-Kiasari.
Selected to compete at this section of the festival, there are also 8 International titles, including Karina Holden's 'Blue' and 'A Marriage Story' by Helena Trestikova.
Fajr International Filmfest pays tribute to quality local and international films. It is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and showcases films promoting artistic contribution to the medium.
2018 edition of Fajr International Film Festival is slated for April 19-27, 2018.
